The MILK Business Young Producer Award will be given to a producer under the age of 35 as of August 1, 2026, who excels in their operation and advocates for the dairy industry through their involvement in the community, trade organizations, and industry events. Any producer who earns at least half of their income from dairy farming and farm-related ventures may apply. Winners agree to be recognized in articles published in MILK Business Quarterly magazine and online.
The MILK Business Leader in Technology Award will be awarded to a farm that focuses on implementing technology to improve dairy operations in terms of ROI, labor, time management, etc. Technology can be anything on the farm—nutrient management, animal ID, milking operations, labor, genetics, commodity barn management, etc. Any producer who gets at least half of their income from dairy farming and farm-related ventures may apply. Winners agree to be recognized in articles published in MILK Business Quarterly magazine and online.
The MILK Business Employee Excellence Award is given to a top dairy employee nominated by their employer who represents excellence in supporting the dairy through their job role. This award will recognize key employees within the dairy operation who are vital to the success of the dairy. Positions to emphasize should include milkers, feed operations employees, calf management employees etc.
